Dark Horse is actually pretty awesome. Vocals throw me off, but this is most likely a grower as you said. I'll be able to appreciate the vocals eventually just like I did for Stray From the Path. The instruments for these guys are fucking sick too.

Agreed, Lets Cheers to This by Sleeping With Sirens is a favorite of mine and took quite a bit to grow on me.

I greedily double post out of habit.

I did indeed. It was cool. And yeah Axe to Fall probably holds their most accessible work so if you like it then start there

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure Bannon's vocals throw everybody off at first.

About to torrent it. I love broadening my horizons, I don't listen to all that much hardcore that I can revisit without strain. Hardcore I consistently listen to: Underoath (if anything barely falls into the category), Stray From the Path, and The Chariot.

I thought their first album showed a bit of potential back when it came out...They've completely blown it since.

Those are good hxc bands also. But yeah Jakes vox are what throws everyone of at first. I oddly enough chose to listen to Jane Doe for my first go on Converge so after spinning that a few times it was all butter from there on out. Cuz JD is by far their least accessible album and has some weird vox

Reminds me of some really really old Underoath. Not quite appealing, but gimme another song y them maybe a little different in taste.

Only so much hardcore at a time for me. Hardcore has to grow on me before I can digest more but i'll definitely check it out in time.
