Now that they're decently successful they have no pain to inspire them anymore!

None of the heavy on the album is very good. The melodic parts stand out more I'd say. Just cause his harsh vocals suck now.

Yeah they're not quite what they used to be. And I wish there more dissonance like on HC and Nightmares, that's what made their riffs so heavy.

Yes! I agree 110%. That's what always stood out about the guitar work for me. They've got a very talented drummer, a competent vocalist (when he wants to be). This is unacceptable.

There's a few sweet really heavy parts but alot of it feels like forced backwash. They just need to get good at being all out heavy again, it's like they don't even want to be a metal band anymore so they can be popular. And they're like shooting a fan funded documentary now, fuck off Architects you aren't even what you used to be.

Yeah the DVD is a slap in the face. They're fucking lost and should figure out their own shit not waste people's time and money making a DVD!

It's interesting that Sam sounds completely different on every album and yet he chose the shittiest of his vocal styles to keep for 2+ albums

New clip sounds exactly like something off of Daybreaker. Oh boy.

I don't really think it's a style so much as he just can't scream as good as he used to, or he just doesn't want to push his voice as hard. He had singing lessons around the recording of THAN, so maybe it wasn't sustainable.

I pretty much knew this was gonna be eh before its release.

Still, its better than Here and Now.

Really? I prefer the Here and Now to this by miles. But I actually really enjoyed THAN unlike most.
