He'll obviously disagree cos he's a fanboy. But yeah even though their albums have different atmospheres they haven't varied much stylistically, bar 2 obvious exceptions.

Aside from Heritage and Damnation, I consider Watershed Opeth's oddest diversion... and I really love it for that. Along with having many great songs, I appreciate the times in which it throws Opeth's rulebook out the window
