This album is really something, and I completely understand the masterpiece comments for the area in hip-hop it wants to occupy (and tower over, which it does, whoa) but making better what has been implemented =/= progressive.. right? It's progression for the artist and his sound, but for hip-hop? Isn't this an album that "we should expect in 2012" just as Sir Lucious Left Foot was for 2010? The discussion then would open to, is hip-hop really in such a state of stagnation that this is considered region-blurring? Nothing here surprised me for content, just for quality of presentation.
