Interesting man that's pretty much the opposite of my experience with this. Was kinda disappointed at first but fell in love with it after repeated listening. In other news they are coming to Australia in November gonna go see em fuck yeah

They have not improved with each album. Swoon was better than Carnavas, I agree, but Neck of the Woods is definitely their weakest of the three so far. It's boring, a lot of the songs sound too similar and it really doesn't bring a whole lot to the table. Hopefully their 4th album will be better. This is just a snoozer though.

yeah true, a fair few people actually seemed to prefer swoon over carnavas but in general I'd agree
this album is definitely in the shadow of both though, seems like it got written off early by some because it's not as immediate as the others, bit of a shame really
