@YoYo

I downloaded "Bath and "Leaving Your Body Map"- and I must say I'm really liking the experimental style. Good rec, man.

I finished Bath but I still have yet to listen to "Leaving"

Bloc, I honestly don't think BTBAM songs would sound much like this with a saxophone. There's too much variation with BTBAM for that to hold true in my eyes, whereas there seems to be a more overarching musical idea here that Trioscapes strives for.

That's EXACTLY what a BTBAM fan would say!

Well, for me this is easier. I like Jazz, I don't like BTBAM. So yeah, though this is probably not as good as the 5023502350230523050 jillion kvlt Polish jazz bands.

^Haha. Very well said. Though I'm yet to listen to it, I doubt it will top my faves.

But seriously, how many Jazz bands do you guys have? Alone Contemporary Noise Quartet/Quintet/Sextet and Pink Freud are totally killing it.

Good call, except for the fact that I'm not a huge fan of them at all. A couple of really good albums, the rest is boring

The variation in BTBAM is probably what makes me choose them over Trioscapes. Like I said before, having a sax, a bass, and a drums can only let you do so much...

structurally and melodically (obvi because of the briggs basswork) it does sound like btbam a lot

You know what bugs me about this. The drumming is so one dimensional. It never lets the music breathe. Let down.
