"Let me explain; I was on the wrong train, it was headed the wrong way so I jumped off."

This is the kind of shit I find myself wailing at the top of my lungs laying naked on my bedroom floor curled up in the fetal position.. Alright maybe not quite that dramatic but this album makes me feel way more than it should.. Almost as if their lost friend Sam is someone that I once knew as well. 5'ing this now after a dozen+ listens because I don't picture this album wearing old to me. Ever. Thank you for yet another great rec, Sputnik.

This review could do without the first three paragraphs.
I didn't think I would make it the whole way, but forced myself to reach it's coherence.

This is pretty much how I feel, which is strange because I'm usually into this type of thing.

guys so I have this kinda crazy idea but, you know how the whole thing is about this dead girl that he used to be friends with?... I think he really wishes disconnected is from her perspective and the "storytelling" is but deep down it's about him on a really introspective level. Because he hasn't reached the point where is friends are afraid of him but it knows it can and will happen at anytime

the more i listen to these hyped folk-punk albums, the more i fear that the genre is simply not for me, though I do quite like AJJ
