Saw them with Opeth last night and I hate to say it but they bored the shit out of me.

Decent album. Good review.

They def were not boring last week. Sounded perfect. If anything Opeth was a little boring since they didnt play any metal until the last 2 songs. Both bands heavily favored their latest albums since its The Hunter/Heritage tour after all, but unlike Heritage at least The Hunter is still metal even if its softer than their past stuff too. Opeth progged hard and musically were perfect but the crowd wanted the heaviness.

Ghost was fun too and I can see them blowing up since their songs are so catchy and they have the whole costume thing going on. The skeleton singer guy was glowing in the dark and changing colors which was kewwww.

Mastodon's last two (Crack, Hunter) are freaking WEAK!!!!! I dont understand why they threw basically anything Heavy under the bus for these two albums. Im not asking for Remission pt 2 or even Blood Mountain pt 2. But a few Growls would be appreciated. Crack The Skye live album was horrendous too, the dual vocal thing didnt work at all.
