I love how you're becoming the new metal reviewer around here Sowing hahaha. I like Nevermore but never bothered with Loomis's side project (mostly to due to how turned off I was by Warrel Dane’s solo album......*shivers*). Is this worth my time?

It's better than Dane's solo stuff so yeah, I'd give it a try. Just don't purchase it or anything crazy like that...youtube or spotify it or something and make up your mind first.

I've always liked Loomis and other virtuoso guitarists, but I've never been able to listen to any of their albums.

this is good. pretty standard shred album. Highlights are the songs with vocals tbh

what? there's no way you can consider them better unless you completely ignore everything technical going into the music

kinda just listening to this as background music
and rapture was incredible

My personal favorite is Requiem for the Living
