I'll never understand why the average rating for this is so low. I don't care if it's 50 Cent or not, this rules.

It's 50 Cent man, of course the indie and metal kids despise him, it's on reputation alone. Anyone who knows their hip hop knows that this album right here is basically a classic, the fact that this is rated lower than some of ICP's freakin' albums on here is really sad. Pretty much the first 12 tracks on here are all essential hip hop of the last decade. Damn shame 50 turned so godawfully bad with his next few albums.

Agree , the ICP fanbase is like some sort of hybrid between a sect and a plague of locusts

What the shart, I thought this album was generally considered a hip hop essential. Shocked at the average rating.

Hate on this album all you want but 50 owns on this.
And his movie isn't bad to boot. Makes you recognize street life.

His Movie was a pile of crap, even the Room is better and that film is pile of shit is an abomination against human race.

haha ohgod all of the 1s.
oh, sputnik.

Curtis is a 1 ,this album not because of the nostalgia factor and 2 of the singles were catchy as fuck , anyways is nothing special and 50 is one the most annoying and generic mc's ever.

I forgot 50 cent existed
|
| |
Now you remeber him and you remember how horrible is his music and how pathetic is his ego and image, we have nas, mos def, atmosphere, eminem and more. So he is just a waste of space.

Man did I fucking hate when this guy was big

50 Cent was really influential and his delivery and flow were on point, tho. I don't like any of his other albums and I like one of his mixtapes but this is really good.

For real, this is a near classic for it's time. This infused so much new life into hip hop after the deaths of Biggie and Tupac. Every one of his other albums are pretty much trash with the exception of a few songs on the Massacre but this album is great. It helps that these are some of the best beats Dre had done in yeaaaaars at this point as well as some of Eminem's best. Shit the production on most of this is dope. A few weak tracks but songs like "Patiently Waiting", "Many Men", and "Heat" are classics.

All I know is he has bigger tits than I do

In Da Club is such a fucking good single, it eventually got overplayed but even then it's still good.

50 cent who has never drank or smoked in his life is high all the time in da club wit a bottle full of bub. This was basically when Dr. Dre figured out how much he could sell out, he originally was giving In Da Club beat to D12
