like i agree that wretched's music has always been the main attraction but adam cody is definitely not a weak/bad vocalist. dude is a monster.

Not in this band though. The lows don't really fit and make it sound like
a band that wants to be a Black Dahlia Murder a little too much for their own good.

Unfortunately his vocal style just doesn't fit all that well with Wretched. I don't think they're trying to be TBDM, Wretched definitely have their own, definitive sound developed. He's a great vocalist, it just doesn't translate into a good fit for Wretched.
Truth be told, his vocals are growing on me, but I still prefer Powers over Cody.

Adam Cody is like five kinds of awesome. I don't know why a lot of people are hating on him. Their last vocalist was weak compared to him imo. Also, At the First Sign of Rust is a badass song.

The Black Dahlia Murder references are kind of ridiculous. The dude from TBDM has probably the most annoying voice I've ever heard and their music is not all that interesting. Also, just because TBDM do similar things vocally, it doesn't mean that anyone is copying them. It's just means that a couple of vocalists have similar ranges and, imo, Adam Cody does it better.

The album has actually grown on me and Adam's vocals dont bother me as much as they used to. TBDM comparisons are pretty crazy to be quite honest. Trevor Stand has a much different vocal style and their brand of melodic death metal doesn't really compare to Wretched.
