Snakes had great songs, The title track, Frost Hammer, Bastard Samurai, How Dark We Pray...I guarantee if those songs were recorded under Endino or Ballou, they would sound more full and much better. However, I agree that this album is much better and the songwriting too.
Let's see Ballou did Trap Them, Black Breath, Converge, Torche, and now, High on Fire ...I know he has done more, but I love these bands and production always rules.
