This is possibly their most diverse. Middle chunk is probably the best part, anyone hear anything about a follow-up yet?

Keep trying Hawks took me months to get into them but once it clicked their music was some of the most incredible and original I had ever heard

Marrow, Swarm and Demiurge (particularly the last two) are awesome. The Demon's Name Is Surveillance is pretty cool too

I hope you didn't start with this, it's definitely their most grating and inaccessible

Probably best off starting with Destroy Erase Improve, then working forwards from there.

I'd say ObZen is their most accessible (also my personal favorite) and is a good sampling of all their different sounds

Meshuggah are pretty accessible from my experience. They were one of the few bands that I could relate on with other metal kids in high school, and it's more or less the same thing at college.

this isnt tooo different from obzen but its a bit more melodic and straightforward. colossus, break those bones, and swarm are some of their "catchiest" songs

Yeah this has more catchiness and diversity than ObZen but it's grating at the same time, for some reason the album
cover captures it very well

Demiurge is catchier than Swarm, I'd say, but definitely agree with the other two. I'd say give this time Hawks, it's a definite grower.
