the songs do drag though

I was thinking the exact same thing after listening to like two songs. Kind of destroys a lot of the enjoyment.

Sweet jesus fuck I love this band. The songs drag? I love the movement-oriented 6-7 minute long songs personally.

I don't have the attention span to listen to 6-7 minutes of weird ass singing and straight polyrhythms nonstop.

But the progressions and transitions are absolutely fabulous!

Taking a listen now, so far just amazed how well all the instruments come together.

Also, love the intro on "Huge Hammers"!

The whole "screaming is weak" thing...I personally enjoy his screaming because it sounds like another version of singing we haven't really heard much yet. It's like...screaming lite, that I think people who don't enjoy screaming but like heavy music can get into. In other words, I think it's supposed to sound lighter than normal screams.

Can't tell if I like this vocalist or not. Huge Hammers is nice though.

I love the vocals on this, so so much. I think people are getting hung up thinking that his harsh vocals are meant to be a more traditional screaming voice. I honestly don't see the dislike for his cleans, they're actually phenomenal.

I still need to burn a copy of this, I love Floods of Colour and Huge Hammers, probably just afraid that the vox will get annoying.

The more I hear them, the worse the vocals get.

Ugh disappointed...

This band really need to develop their songwriting skills. Nothing really memorable here. The heavy
sections are SO boring and samey. The clean vocal delivery doesn't soar over the instrumentation as it
should. Not a fan of the guitar tone either.
