This is the only place I'm seeing much negative reaction to the album. Although iBelieve is pretty much knocked everywhere.

^Yeah that track could use some testosterone. However, the track with the Hey Monday chick is surprisingly one of the best ones.

I can officially say the website has a new asshole, and it happens to be this thread.

Also, I'm pretty sure that more than 130 users became users exclusively for the rights to vehemently protest this dismissal.

I liked their first album but their second was pretty meh. I really like this album though. The screamer has more of a role and Devin is way less annoying, plus there are some fairly interesting vocal melodies like in Gnars Attacks, something about it is slightly different from what a lot of bands are doing. The electronics are pretty sweet here too.

I'm a huge fan of trancecore, so seeing a band that still proudly does the whole synthcore thing made me extremely happy. Way too many bands are turning "serious" and dumping all the fun out of their music (see: Attack Attack!), so it cheers me up when I see bands like I See Stars doing their own thing rather than submitting to the critics.

I also think producing with Sturgis helped their sound a lot, their previous two albums were pretty mediocre production-wise. Like, the snare sounded like a wet mushy bucket, and the guitars had no balls at all. Sturgis makes drop D sound pretty heavy in comparison.

Agreed that Sturgis made this band sound much better, but he also did the mastering on End Of The World, and well, it's not the greatest job.
