I never said the lyrics were good. I just enjoyed the heaviness of it compared to all the other crap on the album and their newest project.

I love Meteora and Hybrid Theory for nostalgia reasons alone basically. I bet if I heard them for the first time now I'd laugh.

Wretches and Kings is the only one I would buy. The others are all mellow crap that involves no instrumental technique (it makes these albums look complex) and I never connected with the lyrics. Just boring

If you really like this band you should check out:

Red- Innocence And Instinct

sounds a lot like old Linkin Park but even better.

Yeah, I'm a big red fan. Not rap oriented like Linkin Park, more straight hard rock, but I love them. That is easily their best album as well. I get the pleasure of seeing them live this summer.

Back in middle school, this was everyone's jam. I liked a few of their songs though not much- a lot of nostalgia here
though.
I enjoyed the review, pos'd

review isn't too bad, but that last line has to go. it's incredibly awkward. i still pos'd.

this was the first band i got into and this was the first release i ever "got excited" for. i still remember buying it on day one with my friends... and being disappointed. i'm still unsure why to this day. apart from somewhere i belong and easier to run, this album just feels fake

Props for mentioning "Don't Stay", but review needs proofreading.

Also, LP lyrics aren't good ANYWHERE.

"The Sun doesn't take the light from the moon assuming/the moon's gonna owe it one".
