I agree with the above. I think this album is slightly better than Mit Gas.

This album is excellent. I haven't heard Mit Gas, but if it's anything like this one I'm sure I'll be pleased.

I've never heard of Tomahawk before. What am I missing?

You are missing a lot, my friend. Tomahawk's self-titled is a rock album with some Wild West themes. The singer Mark Patton uses a variety of styles, and has an amazing range (wait till you hear those low notes in Point And Click). He humms in Narcosis, he screams, he sings clean, he does it all. It is quite a twisted album, with many of the songs dealing with sex, murder, sodomy, etc. The drumming is both skilled and layed back. The guitar playing is great, too. He messes around with strange sounds, and uses heavy distortion sometimes. A definite recommendation.

How is Narcosis not a song? That makes no sense.

It's my favorite on the album anyway.

I really dig most of Mike Patton's work but I honestly don't know what's so special about this.

I would say get this one over the new one. I really didn't like the newer album. I expected something along the lines of Mit Gas.....and didn't get it. I love this album.
