Aww, this album's disappointing me a little on the first listen. The Golden Archipelago felt much more moving

This album is actually kind of playful, which is why Ali doesn't like it. Y'know, it's not all depressing and shit, so.

Really fallen for this album - new to the band though so I don't know how it compares to their other work. Animal Life is an absolutely brilliant track, great energy and when it finally fully kicks in, wow. Immaculate is another standout, though to be honest I don't think any of the tracks are filler. Top stuff.

Vocalist sounds like Tom Smith from the Editors.

Haven't enjoyed them since Rook but this review encouraged me to check it out. Thanks Robin.

I dig this, might grow on me, I think. Really works well as a subdued folk-pop album for the summer.

Can't seem to make much of the review. Maybe my english is not good enough or something... Album is good. My favourite Shearwater album, next to Rook

"you as you were" is one of the most moving and beautifully intense songs i've ever heard.
