Man, the lyrics on this thing are godawful.

Yeah they are but the songs as a whole are actually pretty damn good from what I remember. (from 5 years ago)

Eh, they're not bad. Nothing spectacular or notable, but above average.

Euphoric is such a good song.

It's good. My favorite is Mislead.

I fell out of my fandom of Dream Theater since Portnoy left. But LaBrie's solo stuff is pretty solid.

Weird that LaBrie has a nu-metal label lol.

I know this is an old review but "He also plays some very technical fills in several songs here and there, it is no surprise he was one of the seven drummers lined up to audition for the new drummer position in DT, and one of the three SERIOUSLY considered in filling the huge void Mike Portnoy has left behind, despite being the dark horse of the seven candidates, he has made a lasting impression." should be broken up into multiple sentences.

Only heard a few songs from this

I've had this album for like 6 years and I've never listened to it lol

Hah I know right. Thought I would but never bothered

LaBrie sounds better on his solo records. Though he performed well on DOT

Coming back to this I never realized how much it's pretty much a less overtly poppy version of Amaranthe. The instrumental writing is almost exactly the same in parts (opening riffs to Mislead and Who You Think I Am are the most obvious examples).
The lyrics on this are pretty abysmal, but other than that it's still really enjoyable.
