Yeah new mala rules but it's too traditional to compete with this IMO. Which isn't to say that being traditional is bad. I think that Mala EP is fucking incredible and something that DMZ really needed. But this is just too good and fresh for anything to really be in its league, at least from what I've heard.

I can only listen to certain electronic music for studying, like airy ambient stuff. The more aggressive stuff puts me off. Like IDM is a no go, so is most heavy dubstep. I could jam to this for studying though.

Yeah most electronic stuff I can't study to, but certain ambient stuff works. I definitely wouldn't be able to study to this though.

There's way too much going on here for me to study to it. It's spacious as hell and has a lot of ambient elements but I think generally it's pretty dense and has a lot going on at all times.

The Mala one

Again: what hype train? The guy just put out two legendary tracks in the DMZ "unreleased" catalogue. Practically everyone already knows these songs. So how is that a hype?

Yeah that album is much chiller, I tried to write something whilst listening to Cosmogramma once and had to stop it, was writing in binary and drawing spaceships

this isn't that chilled out. Unite is the only Burial track I'd call chilled out. All his other stuff demands real concentration and it's designed to put you on edge
