The self-titled is cool as well, you can look into that if you wish. Their earlier stuff is just formulaic melodeath.

And Avatar the movie as in James Cameron's Avatar, you know, the one with blue na-vis running around, fighting for the freedom of their home planet.

Listening to this right now. It's actually surprisingly good.

This band is uniquely bad. Folks who believe this is good have very low standards. in fact, they probably flit around to all sorts of bad and rave about it.
This album reeks. Not one bit of it sounds like authentic anything. It's a massive pile of stolen riffs and ideas.

"Yeah, actually, I'm gonna bump it down to a 4. Don't want people wishing for the second coming of christ in musical form, because, well, this isn't it. Still really, really good though."

Another couple of listens and you'll probably bump it down to a 2.5 where it deserves to be and then wonder if you have any credibility as a reviewer of metal.

their early stuff is less gay but doesnt make it better

the video where the guy has a fantasy about being in a twisted theme park is...uh...interesting.

but on the whole I cant say I like this at all
