How annoying must it have been to add I and /I to every "f" in fIN. "Last Land" is actually really good.

", the abrupt change from the driven uptempo smacks of mechanical production to the warmer and deliberately sensual overtones he now *become* the sole bearer of makes fIN even more the underdog success story than it already is"

looking into this.

This album is definitely a grower, but 3 listens through and it may have already stopped growing on me. I dunno, it begins and ends well - which leads me to agree with Deviant that this is a capital-a Album - but I feel it also has its share of missteps.

"El Oeste" isn't particularly memorable, "Missing You" never congeals into something functional and I also agree that some tracks are cut much too short. The last one is a good complaint to have, I suppose, and there are highlights throughout, but this won't score higher than a 3.5-4 from me.
