Seems like the second half of the album is far superior than the first.

yeah the keyboards are way up in this, but its not unbearable.
i think the keyboards were pretty much non-existent in their earlier releases, and made it seem weird
that they even had keyboards to begin with. this might make it appear that they are more prevalent to
the music now than they used to be.

some of the keyboard sections are just way too loud...but some of it really compliments. I actually really like the sections where the keys seem to shift pitch.

Well maybe if they had a good producer
Or a producer in general.

The few snippets I've heard of this so far sound like a Bleeding Through concert, where everything is just really unfiltered and fighting each other

Yup, the whole sound is muddy...if this was produced properly it has the potential to be a good album

Must mention The Dev again.. I can't help it, he's a genius. Like the production on Controller? Perfection.

Sister Charlatan is definitely the greatest thing they have done. I'd love to see that live. I saw them once but it was right before Declaration came out and they didn't play it.

Does anyone else think the keys stick out like a sore thumb? I know they're more noticeable than most others, but they seem a bit out of place and obtuse.

It'd be great if the singer could actually write something that didn't read like something a school kid would carve into his desk

Well, heard for the first time and it´s kinda alright.
Way better than the self-titled but weaker than Declaration and this is love...
The Devil is easily the best song on here.
I think the keys mostly sound the same and there are too many pointless blast-sections.

Just what I figured. Great review dude.
