Carpe Diem, Devils Dance, Slither, and Where the Wild Things Are are pretty much 4 of the worst 5 songs Metallica ever did.
I just really hate ReLoad.
And I love me some country n Western, so I don't mind Mama Said. Obviously, Mama Said isn't GOOD, but they've done much much worse.

Devil's Dance is ok, nothing special. Slither is difficult, but I'd say The Unforgiven II is actually worse (didn't like the first part that much either). On the whole ReLoad isn't that much worse than Load. Bothed are filled with mediocre tracks, Load has more stand-outs.
And I'm not a country guy anyway, but Metallica trying it means taking all the cheese of the genre and combine it with a guy that can't sing and no musicality. Just horrible.

Well, to be fair Memory Remains is mostly Marianne Faithfull's credit. Bad Seed though, the only time the whole southern rock thing really works.
