Yeah, Ear Candy is great. Definitely worth a listen. Glad to see some love for King's X on here.

LAY DOWN YOUR BURDENS BY THE
RIVER SIIIDE
DT's Stream of Conscious' mid section always reminds me of Groove machines main riff. Bet they stole it.

Probably more of an homage, no? Considering that Dug guested on FII.

Oh dam you're back! With DT having a penchant for ripping off other bands I wouldn't be surprised if they ripped King's X. Probably a coincidence though

DT plays so many notes per song, once in a while they're going to play the same notes in the same sequence.
Also, not to humble-brag, although that's totally what I'm about to do, guess who's going to see King's X live on June 13...

That's great bro! I'm sure you'll have an awesome time! So glad Jerry is fit enough to bring this show back on the road.

@Sitar: Hey DT has the ability not to play a million notes per second
@Davil: They may be old, but they can still rock the fuck out judging by the videos I've seen. Good old fashioned stripped down rock without any distractions. Like Zappa said "Shut up n' play yer guitar." Yeah man it's good to see Jerry not only healthy but back on the road.

Yeah, but I compare DT to Pi. Because Pi is completely irrational, every conceivable number sequence can somewhere in the expansion of Pi.
DT is the same way. They play so many notes that basically every other melody ever written will show up in a DT song at some point.
And I'm suuuuuuper psyched about the KX show. I've been in love with this band for more than a decade now and I never thought I'd see them live because their tours are so tiny. I'm making the trek out to Middleofnowheresville, New Jersey for the show, but it's totally worth it.
