@ AngelofDeath - yeah, they should remaster all of their albums already even the best sounding ones

can sound better now. but they got to do Kill 'Em All, St. Anger, and Death Magnetic i don't mind AJFA

the way it is but like I said all of them! hey Megadeth did all up to Risk Metallica should do the

same.

And heck yes! this does have the best Instrumental lol.

i don't think they need to remaster st anger as such.

they need to rewrite, rerecord and redo everything about it :P

@ thumbcrusher - lol, in my opinion they just got to "clean" the sound cut the extra unneeded "fat" of

some songs and add the solos they decided not to add originally. just listen to the "Some Kind Of

Monster (Edit)" its half the length of the original with good production only No solo. but some songs

should still be the same like "The Unnamed Feeling" IMO, but St. Anger (the song) cut to like 4

Minutes. always thought if it was 4 min than it explodes to a ending similar to "One" for the last 3

minutes it will be very good. also i don't want them to change "All Within My Hands" i love that song.

but definitively cut half of "Invisible Kid" and "Shoot Me Again".

with better production it will be much more accepted and enjoyed.

yeah some of the song sound like they could be quite good. you're right with the length issue. it's like they made one or two riffs for a song and then went "oh we want to be old metallica again so the the tracks need to be 8 minutes long" and just did the riff over and over and over and over until they reached the designated time.

"@ MetallicOpeth - what do you mean not really Thrash? because it's more progressive? every where i went it's called Thrash is it a different sub-genre?"

here's the way I see it.

Kill em All and Ride are undisputed thrash classics, riffs and fists abound.

In comes Master of Puppets and you have Metallica releasing an album that is pretty good, but is maybe a third thrash. It's basically some pretty fast heavy metal for the time, but it's definitely not thrash.

Now with Justice you have a really pissed off band (death of Cliff, enter the new guy) taking out their anger in what has some thrash parts, but is just a really balls out heavy metal album.

Don't get me wrong I fucking love this album, it was basically Puppets done right.

I just have a feeling people like to call the first 4 Metallica albums classic thrash when in reality only the first 2 were true thrash, but then again Fade to Black and Bells aren't really thrash, but whatever the rest of Lightning is so yea.

This ain't a thrash classic, it's a fucking heavy metal classic but it rules hard so whatever.

@ MetallicOpeth - oh okay i see your point. i guess people also judge by how the band looks and preforms watching them live back than has a ton of energy and headbanging even in the black album tour. but yeah Metallica's "Thrash" is more heavy Metal oriented making them more accessible than lets say Slayer or even early Megadeth.

@ thumbcrusher - yeah definitely it gets really repetitious in some songs. but even Load and Reload had like 7-9 minute songs and they didn't get repetitious like "Outlaw Torn" and "Fixxer". i think another year working on St. Anger would have made a better album. hey they can still correct those mistakes and make it better.

Have people honestly not looked into fan-done remixes with added bass? Just type in and justice for jason on youtube to see what I'm on about. Plus, this is Metallica's second best album after Master. There is a reason why it is heralded as a thrash/heavy metal classic afterall
