cover makes me think of morrowind
"To the guy above, Witchcraft is different from The Devil's Blood. They are part of the same kind of retro scene, but they really don't sound alike where Witchcraft is more Pentagram, The Devil's Blood is more, I don't know...they sound old, but can pen a reference on them. And Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats is phenomenal, I am glad you will be reviewing those records!"
Thanks guys! I am definitely gonna check out TDB and Uncle Acid! It's just insane that you think you know it all and then on a website like this one you discover a ton of interesting bands you never heard of!
My wallet hates you :p
haha, well. That's way it always goes someone always know more than you. There's a lot of good stuff that goes unnoticed. But I am glad we all could turn you on to it!
Fire Burning fucking owns.
I enjoyed Come, Reap a lot more. Still a good listen nonetheless.
You've gotten really fucking great man, keep up the awesome work. This actually sounds pretty interesting. Will look into.
Gotten great? Voivod is one of the best reviewers on this site, period!
This band sucks but I love the review as usual : ).
Digging: Ash Borer - Cold of Ages
Album Rating: 3.6
I enjoyed Come, Reap a lot more.
Yeah, me too.
In this one, these guys are trying a different angle with their music, which is not 100% functional.
Their rock n' roll side slays, though.
Digging: Aspherium - The Fall of Therenia
woah, this album is really good! great review :D. also, their name is somehow misleading, I was thinking this would be some angry metal stuff, but it's great. same went with Primal Scream, the first time i had heard of them they sounded brutal.
Digging: Motorpsycho - The Motorpnakotic Fragments
Album Rating: 2.5
"Hey sis, I wanna be kvlt. You wanna be kvltz? You do? Ok... What are some scary sounding songs that we can try to rip off... The Phantom of the Opera is one, let's do that riff and you sing about scaries"
Album Rating: 4.0
shame they called it quits
Album Rating: 4.5
I am absolutely addicted to this album. Sometimes an album comes along that just resonates so well with where I am in my life. This is that album for me.
