It's not that great. It's alright, but it's no way near a five. I'd give a 3.4, maybe a 4.

Album's alright. It does nothing to differentiate itself from shit like btbam and corelia though

I guess it doesn't help that they had the same producer who works with BTBAM

I actually prefer this vastly over BTBAM considering it's their first release.

This is one of my favorite prog metal albums. I love how all the songs play like one continuous track but you can definitely tell the difference between them. Yea, yea, we all know they sound like a BTBAM clone but these guys feel like their own band and not a copy of a band we all know and love very well. These guys have really good song structure and composition. I know this might be too early to say but they could possibly end up being just as good or better than BTBAM and I only say this because they don't have those moments of random noodling and guitar wankery for no reason just for song filler. I mean BTBAM seem to do this a lot and it's not a bad thing but sometimes it becomes very unnecessary in some of their songs. In my eyes this band feels original regardless that they sound like a carbon copy of you know who. This album is hot shit for being their first album.

This is definitely a good record but I don't think it takes much to be better than BTBAM (this is vastly better than a majority of what BTBAM have done imo) but god forbid I may be crucified by those hardcore fans lurking about

You and I both, I'm a BTBAM fanboy but you always gotta realize the truth about anything you love. Sometimes everything is not as perfect as it seems, and sometimes not everything is good. Like with BTBAMs last record, I thought it wasn't all that. Maybe I gotta listen to it again and I might have a different opinion but for now I thought the Parallax EP was better than the album.

It's sad that conversations about these guys will always lead into BTBAM talks, but I mean, they did out themselves in this position by being so similar!

the vocals sound a lot like tommy but I don't really see anything else that's much similar about them
