At just 19 years of age, English singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin has taken another little step up on her 2nd EP 'Never Fade'. Expanding on the sound which was displayed on her acoustic debut, Aplin seems more confident with her style of folky indie-pop this time around. Her sweet - almost twee at times - voice is predominantly charming, but does falter into annoying territory on a couple of occasions during this 4 track release. Just like 'Ghosts' was the clear highlight on the debut, 'Panic Chord' stands out here with its lovely melody demonstrating the talent which lies within this young lady. Recommended Tracks: Panic Chord & Lying To The Mirror.
