Yeah I have to agree for a big part. Every kind of out-of-this-world structures/arrangements and original music in style and sound tend to contain progressive elements. Long live to larger-than-life modern music haha m/

Music that sticks to one particular genre is getting less and less relevant with every passing year, it seems. And I'm not only talking about rock/metal.

Yeah, the main reason probably being that it becomes really hard to stay original and non-derivative nowadays. So flirting with couple of other genres is now kinda obligatory.

Flirting with other genres is obligatory indeed... The best stoner/sludge releases of the year tend to combine many different subgenres. Take "Momantha" for example: stoner rock, sludge, doom, hardcore punk, blues etc.

Today I was listening to this - and combined with Hans' life motto it made me ask myself why there is no tshirt with Riff > Life on the front (and maybe a guitar in the background), RAWK on the back and a little fond saying inspired by Hans.

If I have some spare money I'll definitely let some shop realize this idea. Not many people would get it but it would still be fucking awesome.

Also, this RAWKS.

I already liked this and Dozer upon first checking out but I just today realized how it rawks. If it will stick with time I'll probably bump up the rating.

I absolutely love this band's feel and energy , the vocalist is good (and an interesting character) ,the instrumental is absolutely great stoner rock with infuences from punk , metal , psychedelic and melvins (wich are more or less the things i love the most) to me this is a great and powerful debut album and I can't wait for the next one . Turbowolf you have just earned a fan , oh and by the way hello to you guys ,I'm new on sputnik !
