I love Chevelle they are one of the few bands not sinking Alt Rock into the ground. For that I salute them for doing what they do.

3.8 average? Don't know how this is rated better than Vena Sera. Nowhere near as good in my opinion.

I agree I've been surprised just how stubborn this album's average has been, but part of me actually thinks they won a few new fans with this release. Like they reached a level where the radio listener might actually know who these guys are outside of say Northeast US

there are absolutely not well-known in Canada, I can at least testify to that lol (I think the only place I've heard them be played in the last 5 years in Canada was Windsor, which is right across the river from the US...)

never heard of a radio station in toronto, ottawa, calgary, or montreal that would play them

didn't know they were that big in the States though, no wonder they never tour up here...
