This has got that early 90's 'Rollercoaster/Down Colourful Hill' warmth, feels natural, flows. 'Things We Lost' has this vibe I can only describe as 'churchy' that stops me being able to listen to it back to back. The vox are a little too 'choir-like' for my tastes, still a great album but yeah, a bit mannered and stuffy.

it's not
|
| |
stuffy? I don't agree with that i get what you're saying though, the vibe on this one is executed perfectly but the songwriting on twl is their best for me on any low release

'Things We Lost' was my introduction to Low and I'd never seen a picture of the band, but the music made me imagine a childless Amish couple going mad singing to each other in an empty church hall.
I guess what I'm saying is half of 'Things We Lost' sounds like 'Sunshine' off this ;P
