What happened to this band? L.D 50 showed such promise, all their albums after it have been.... average at best.

the end of all things was pretty good but yeah, this band lost their shit.

Good review, but Mudvayne is far from Nu-Metal. Breaking Benjamin's older stuff is nu metal, and Lost in found is 10x heavier than that.

Regardless of how heavy they are, they stripped themselves of anything that made them unique long ago.

Didn't mind a couple of the songs on there, but it's just like they gave up after the debut. lol

An old one a day review...good times! I still love this album most, but I guess I'm also still missing why this gets less love than previous albums. A New Game is the real atrocity.

Dunno man, maybe I look at it abit biast. lol L.D 50 blew my mind, but then they just seemed to ditch the sound they had. These guys could have give Tool a run for their money if they'd have stook with more of the experimental side. Latter day albums just seem to straight forward for my taste.

Still, to each their own. haha I did prefer this to A New Game also. Now that was abysmal. haha

Okay I agree with you there, and yeah, New Game was definitly the confirmation that they were fucking dead. This at least still had some technical skill and ambition.

Yeah this album has some great tracks on it. IMN is awesome and Martinies bass lines are incredible especially on Rain Sun Gone.

I think every song is a standout with all great writing still. I don't think any wrong turns were made with the band until after this came out then it was a badly chosen U-Turn towards a bad end and that end was literally Hell.

Talking about Hell Yeah.

I don't know why they are wasting their time with that shit band when another Mudvayne record could be made. The self-titled Mudvayne was actually a step back in the right direction too.
