Honestly, anyone giving this less than a 2 either didn't listen all the way through, is extremely biased, or is simply not a very intelligent person.

I went on a huge Office kick just recently and watched seasons 1-7. The new episodes are hilarious.

Album reminds me of Trainspotting

Well, at one time, you've got it, and then you lose it, and it's gone forever. All walks of life: George Best, for example. Had it, lost it. Or David Bowie, or Lou Reed.

Lou Reed, some of his solo stuff's not bad.

No, it's not bad, but it's not great either. And in your heart you kind of know that although it sounds all right, it's actually just shite.

Haha, I love seeing the word 'shite'. Although I've seen about 1600 movies, I've yet to watch Trainspotting.

Also, for any of you who haven't heard Lou Reed's solo stuff, I recommend you look into it. This album shouldn't (although I can see why it would) deter people from checking out his work outside of this.

Reminds me of Bob Dylan.

That's a hell of a lot better than it reminding you of a senile old man though, eh? In all seriousness though, do you like his sound on those songs?

Just listened to The View for the first time. Idk, if this was Lou Reed's attempt at making a "metal" album of sorts it wouldn't sound quite as unbearable as it was. But it's Lou Reed and Metallica so as such this needs to die quietly in a hole somewhere

The third track is unbearably bad. Give it a listen just to see for yourself, lol.

Also, where is it I go to ask if this review can be featured?
