Another thing I noticed from the physical copy of the album that I didn't see when streaming it (you
guys may have already figured this out) but the tracks from each disc correlate with each other. Like
tracks 6, 7, and 9 are interlude type songs on each disc, and Claudia Lewis and Steve McQueen are
both track 8
Not a big deal obviously but I thought it was interesting.

Could Gonzalez have trimmed the fat down a little? The double-album conceit is almost never necessary, and Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming is no exception.

That reads sort of weird, did you mean to say "concept" or intend to say "conceit"?

I always enjoyed M83's Dead Cities, Red Seas, and Lost Ghosts quite a bit, and I suppose I was expecting this here to be good when I sampled it, but I didn't realize it was going to be this damned good. Some seriously spacey dreampop here as expected but damn I didn't expect it to be so danceable either. This thing makes you want to get up and move. Good workout music in a weird way. Good dance music. Just good music.

Yeah, on this balmy warm spring evening I am sitting in my hammock drinking beers on the back deck listening to this at the moment. Bliss.
