The deluxe edition versions of Hollow and Dark Matter are better than the album ones imo

wtf, this is sick as f***,

Maynard once said in a interview that it should be a human goal to reach the highs one experience's
while on whatever drug is out there, without the use of drugs. Also mentioned was, drugs release he
chemicals that are already found in our brains

I think with this album I just attained a high comparable to the highest high I've ever experienced

dude what the F*** is this, can someone please bring me back to reality?!?

this seems less focused. the actual songs here aren't very good

with the exception of the opener and "virus" and i guess "cosmogony"

it's mildly interesting but not much fun to listen to

^i read you on that, this is actually my first ever listen to bjork

im a dumbass huh lol

well i guess im going to vespertine now, im sure it sound like it will quickly replace this

ive listened to his about 4-5 times now, and the replay value is diminishing
ill still like the lyrics to sacrifice, that wont ever change

The songs here are great, imo...I'm especially fond of
"Moon", "Dark Matter", "Hollow", "Sacrifice", and
"Mutual Core".

i like vespertine way more than everyone else seems to have deemed necesssary (top 10 of the decade
for sure), so don't be surprised if you don't think it's The Best Thing Ever. still, i mean, like,
awesome

@conrad: fair enough. i'll definitely give this album a few more listens because at the very least
it's dissatisfying in an interesting way that may prove ameliorated with some more close
listening

so far most of the pleasure, if any, that i derive from it seems to be more extra-musical and out of
respect for how deep bjork goes conceptually and how in love she seems to be with, like, everything
