Mutual Core and Crystalline are obvious album highlights.
They represent the experimental Bjork we all enjoy.
I know many people enjoy Hollow but I just wish there was more spark to it, its one of those songs you need to put effort to listen to :/

who wants to put in effort to enjoy music dude it should all be so effortless and instantly memorable so that there is no lasting value to it at all but it doesnt matter because more than likely one will just be on to another album in about twenty minutes because one has to get one's ratings up into the thousands for all kinds of indie cred dude but dont worry one day eventually one will go back to that album to listen to it once one finished fellating oneself

I'm not big on Moon or Solstice. The rest is pretty great I think and imo Crystalline and Mutual Core, with the more energetic parts, are well placed.
The leaked version of Crystalline was my favourite musical moment of 2011, with that beat that just exploded out of nowhere.

Anthracks you're hilarious ahahaha.
and yeah, I agree... Crystalline is the shit.
If you compare the single to the album version the album one is a bit different... the drums kick in earlier.

They fade in on the album version, but on the leaked version it was like BOOM wtf. Both awesome though. Another great moment is those backing vocals in Thunderbolt. "my romantic gene is doooooominantttttt and it hungers for uuuuuuuuunion"
I don't see it as being that similar to Vespertine. It's reserved but not all that immediate.

Each of her works is different, this one is slightly vocal, much like Medulla and it does have beats reminiscent of Vespertine and Homogenic...
Subject wise it does not have the romantic-sexual lyricism of Vespertine... its too organic ahaha

Did anyone catch how Nelly Furtado's new song (Big Hoops) totally rips the end of Crystalline?

I liked the Current Value remixes, was underwhelmed by the Death Grips installment, and dug the Cosmogony/Virus one..

Yeah I think you and me are pretty much on the same page there Conrad. Current Value's been killing it ever since he came out of his semi retirement. Kinda looking forward to the 16Bit stuff, though I already know what to expect

Probably not man. I toyed with the idea of covering Dross Glop ( the Battles remix album) but I don't know. I just don't really have a great deal to say about a whole remix album
