Album rules for me. Call me a fanboy but I enjoy it.

Great review btw. Backed up your argument pretty swiftly.

I started off really enjoying it, but it just grew tedious quite quickly.

Neg.

Clear bias against the band based on what you heard on The Blackening. Hardly discussed the content of the music itself.

This is a well written review, I just don't agree with it. Unless Meshuggah release an lp, this is Album of the Year.

lol this review is terrible. Haven't heard the album yet but good grief, what a silly review.

Unless the goal was to be a magniloquent caricature of a review...and if so, kudos.

"Or fans of writing."

What's there to write about? It's a run-of-the-mill metal album. How would you go about explaining the taste of a bland bowl of cereal? Ten paragraphs? Eleven?

Taylormemer, I normally really like your style of writing but this time around there are a litany of grammatical errors and some really bizarre sentences. The opening paragraph also reads like some big - forgive me - verbal wank. I understood what you were trying to say, but at the end of it all when I tried to summarize the intention of your review, it seemed to me like the thesis you were trying to prove literally had a displacement of near-zero.

I weighed it all over and decided to go for a neg. Sorry mate. Just didn't feel it this time around.
