i actually think it takes some balls to be as big a pansy as jordan dreyer
I can't know, duh. But that's how it comes across, everything else is irrelevant. also lol at those lyrics.
Exactly what I meant.
I guess "pretentious" may not be the perfect word. Wildly hyperbolic, exaggerated to no end, stereotypical/prototypical, scene-ish, lame, pubescent. If those adjectives fly more with your style.
Also, don't you pull a Tom Selleck on me.

Gonna keep this one for a while though, damn got pics on my wall of her and everthing now :/ (she's gonna file that restraining order, hard.)
I'm pretty sure she actually spoke out against exactly that, lol. In addition to the whole complimenting her for aesthetics and shit stuff.
agreed. her music is gorgeous and she is undeniably cute but i try my best to focus on the former.
^ what he said. Although I find it to hard to focus on such aesthetics much when they're not in my vicinity.
Yeah well I don't see anything wrong tbh, I bought her music so that's support she undoubtedly needs.
I could understand how she'd find it sketchy but then again she is a zany chick, not just pics of her either lol other bands, acts etc.
Nah, not you specifically I just think I read a blog post of hers where she spoke out about such fangirling/-boying and complimenting such musicians on their visual aesthetic when they actually don't want that because of sexism and something along those lines - Idk, I couldn't entirely follow that reasoning tbh and I think it was a bit hyperbolic.
I mean if people are obviously going into that direction, yeah I get it. But throwing rage fits about compliments and declaring them sexist seems a bit exaggerated to me. I generally think regarding that issue/these issues is a lot of grey area that's kind of detached from the ideology at heart and people too easily dismiss criticism as another sign of oppression, "the Man" or whatever "authority" you're rebelling against today.
i think her tone was more reasonable than that.
Well I'm sure I am among many males who adore her music and just find her looks to be an added bonus. But yeah, the whole visual thing on its own without having any interest in the music whatsoever is p dumb.
Yeah, I went off on a tangent a bit with the second paragraph - that's not directly connected to her just something I noticed in general.
What I remember is something in the direction of sexism, societal stereotypes and that she doesn't want to be complimented for her visuals. I don't recall the specifics.
Yeah, same. It's nice if an artist has something visual about them but it's not like they have to.
