I just can't help but chuckle every time I hear the intros to tracks 3-6, hilarious rehashes of metal cliche's. Great album regardless.

I really like the song Locust. Every time I hear it though, all I can think of is Bloodlines from Dethklok when I hear the drums come in.

After a couple of plays, I agree with the review. I enjoy every release by these guys. Yep, including SuperCharger ! Not disappointed at all .

I'm quite disappointed with this. Yes, the first 3 tracks sounds like Machine Head carried on from where they left off but for me the second half really heads into the shitter as far as quality is concerned.
During the song Darkness Within Robb Flynn does his best impression of Fall Out Boy not to mention the abysmal Who We Are where he resorted to jot down about how 'we' are different to those horrible naughty mainstream people.
Machine Head deserve their success and are still a great live band, but this album will be given the accolades it doesn't deserve.

This album sounds almost too good the first few spins. I fear the dreaded quick boredom.

I have the Metal Hammer fanpack with keyring/bottle opener and a giant poster with the names of everyone who preordered. Its only bonus track is a live version of Locust.

Thanks bowl, glad you like it too. I'm pretty close to bumping it to a 5, although there are many who wouldn't agree with that.
