The solo at the beginning still gives me chills, and especially the way it leads into that beautiful acoustic motif

Maybe I should jam this and KEA a bit more, as they're my fave 'Tallica records.

But that might have to wait until 2014.

I've had this album for just over a week (I got it for Christmas) and it's already beginning to integrate itself into my daily life. It's epic, energetic music that makes otherwise mundane tasks such as putting clothes away or shoveling snow so much more meaningful/enjoyable. After repeated listens, even the tracks that I initially thought to be below the bar set by the rest ("Fight Fire with Fire" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls") are growing on me. This could end up at a 5 if given enough time.

So far it's my favorite too, though I've only heard this, MOP, AJFA and Load. I also have KEA but I've been procrastinating on giving that a listen.
