Only heard The Devil You Know and Fight'em 'Til You Can't and I liked.
Need to dig this asap.

Great review Hans!

Is this as good as their old material? Nah. I shouldn't have asked this question. I'll look into it soon.

This album rules...alot. It's actually surprising how good it turned out. I'm Alive is so sick. Good review bro.

Thanks Opeth.

Greg, its not as good as classic era Belladonna but its damn solid, particularly the first half.

Love this review.

With the exception of the beastly “Sound of White Noise,” every Anthrax release in the past 18 years has been average at best, forgettable as the norm
I finally listened to all of the John Bush albums on Spotify yesterday and I thought that Sound of White Noise was the worst of the group. The rest were decent and Stomp 442 was pretty damn cool.

thanks Willie.

Sound of White Noise is one I grew up with, I got it from BMG music when I was 13, thought it was immensely badass, have always liked it. Stomp 442 has two awesome songs in Bare and Fueled but I think its pretty average. Volume 8 is ok but same story.

Volume 8 has like 5 straight up Nu Metal songs on it.

I don't mind nu metal, so the nu metal influence on Volume 8 didn't really bother me. I liked Stomp 442 because it was like a heavier, more energetic version of Sound of White Noise, but it also seemed more 'fun'.
