New direction has been done for 45 years, extreme metal has been done for 25. Less intruiging. more 'done to death'.

It's grrroovay, that's whats intriguing. I would prefer adding more experimental elements, but I woudn't want them to bring back death metal elements, there's been enough of that for now.

true, theyve past their metal peak already. already by watershed the metal aspects started to sound watered down
