ACoS is a lot more cohesive than their other epics

Repentance drones on for too long, but the first half is among their best in terms of ballads.

Octavrium t/t flows together so much better and actually hits the epicness that DT strive and mostly fail for recently.

Yeah guys, ACOS is way more cohesive than Octavarium t/t, the Shine On ripoff intro in the later is unnecessary for the most part. It's not a bad song at all though, the Medicate part is one of their best ballads imo

Someone Like Him part is better as I feel it comes to a more satisfying ending

Yeah Green, 4.5 because this is their most cohesive work since 6deg, and gets so much hate for nothing. This album is a piece of genius, it's like the most solid representation of their modern style, and doesn't have the awful inconsistency of some Octavarium, SC and BC&SL songs

Yeah, their most consistent since 6Deg, but overwhelmingly bland most of the time

I don't see what's bland about this, not very original and too derivative of I&W but among the best post 6Deg for sure

The drums are lacking, too many songs are uninteresting, it just seems like a post-6Deg DT album

Build Me Up and This is the Life are bland at times, other than that I don't find anything boring or too generic. Plus, it has Breaking All Illusions

Really? Build me up is horrid. Highlights all the failed epicness which translates into one of their cheesiest and cringeworthy song

Build Me Up isn't half bad, it's like Dream Theater's Drawing the Line
