I guess it could be a grower but I feel like if you didn't like it right away you might not ever. I liked it right away. If you don't like Good Arms vs. Bad Arms then there is no hope for you and you should run away.

Yea I listened to this a lot today. It's really good just nothing amazed me. Everyone told me that if I love The Dark Dark Bright ill love this but I def prefer that album.

yea definitely some decent songs on here. used to be like 4.5 territory for me though. now I just listen to it when I want something catchy and uptempo in the car or something rather than smthng like quality.

Why is this album so fantastic, but then the rest of their discography is so mediocre?
I haven't yet listened to Pedestrian Verse, so maybe I'm not qualified to make that statement, but the debut is bad and The Winter of Mixed Drinks is just okay.

they were a band that did one sound very well, that's all
they combined it all on one album and then the best output they had after that were just songs that reiterated this album

It'll probably grow on you if you give it a chance Ryus. It did for me. It started in 3-3.5 territory, and it's getting close to a 5.
