Albeit being Death 'n' Roll, the record still maintains that heavy Entombed sound thanks to Lars back on vocals and of course that killer guitar tone.
The first half is strong, but the second half is average at best. The problem is after a few listens the songs just blend together... Too simplistic and no dirty memorable riffs like those that were on the first two albums.
Pair this up against another Death 'n' Roll album such as Swansong by Carcass, and Wolverine Blues pales in comparison.
Carcass perfected 3 genres, Entombed just one.
It should be noted that the album cover is garbage. You go from having two of the greatest album covers in death metal to this shit.
