Jamming Oracles right now.
Slightly different...more traditional songwriting.

pretty solid band live but I've heard from many bands/promoters that they're complete assholes

This album is really repetitive. Can't stand listening to it for more than fifteen minutes....

It's easy to become infatuated with the highlights of this album. Such as the build-up during Temptation as it leads into the first 40 seconds of The Hypocrisy. The Violation is also a really cool song. But the highlights are just too few and far between, Septic Flesh did it so much better.

I'm becoming a big fan of this band. Although I don't think they are that good live, on record they seem to get everything just right. The classical influences, the brutal sounds, even the addition of the cleaner vocals are all managed appropriately for an album such as this. Only thing that annoys me slightly is the harsher vocals which don't seem to impress all that well, but alongside everything else they aren't that frustrating.
