Everyone's different, but i still hold true the notion that people who rate this less than 5 just haven't listened to the album enough. Either that or their critical radar is off - no offence to anyone, it's just that this album blows my mind, so i'm passionate about it.

Tyraelxy - Nice!

Side B is just insanely nostalgic for me, its strange. That harmonica in New Career just gets me every single time too

I counter this by saying that people who rate this more than 4.5 just haven't listened to the album enough. Either that or their critical radar is off - no offence to anyone, it's just that this album is good, but not that good.

but yes, this is kinda neglected for me ;)

There's some fierce debating going on here!

This album influenced so many people and it helped rejuvenate Bowie. The way the second half says so much without words is astounding - the first half is just as strong - diverse, flowing and stonger with repeated listens. You won't hear me say this often, but both objectively and subjectively, Low is virtually flawless.

I really love the informative side of your reviews, it's one of their best qualities in my opinion!

Cheers, Acanthus, appreciate it bud. I try to make them interesting and more than just plain descriptions of the music - a little history spices things up a touch, i feel, and i'm glad someone likes it.
