its not that i hate it or anything, it always just takes a long time for albums to grow on me. i actually like it better this time around. 2nd to last track has a creepy vibe which i like a lot.

kind of surprising, i always hear Nothing Lasts as least favorite and i'd have to agree. even Simon said that they regretted using a bunch of shorter songs rather than less and longer. live they always play a few songs off of Nothing Lasts though, good transitions between songs. i get real groovy to Molecular Superstructure and Connoisseur Of Hallucinations

Yeah I agree 36C, it's all about where they go with the longer stuff. There's some awesome short stuff on nothing lasts too, but nothing really has the scale of their more epic stuff. And there are some tracks on there that really don't ever evolve into much.
It's between this or Ineffable for me. Kind of depends on what mood I'm in. Some of the more organic stuff on Ineffable can be great, but sometimes this is better. Nothing is Something is just fucking sublime.
