Best album i've ever heard, my personal favorite. Everything is awesome about this album.

- The lyrcs... best i've ever seen

- riffs are awesome, same with the drums

- Jesse Leach has an awesome voice, huge range.

- great guest vocals

- the small bass solos

- diversity of the tracks, they all sound different.

It's amazing how someone can make music which is brutal as hell and at the same time, very melodic. And how many "more brutal" metal bands do you see, writing positive lyrics?

Numbered Days isn't from this album.

Their first album features better lyrics. The riffs are very simplistic. Jesse Leach can't really growl but he's an amazing clean singer and screamer.

They aren't brutal. If you think this is the best album you've ever heard then you're very narow minded, and you probably haven't heard a lot of music.

The new Unearth is awesome but not as good as this disc.

Between the Buried and Me are really wierd...too weird for me. I love the song Mordecai tho.

I just dont like protest the hero...awful vocals destory the band, same problem with Shadows Fall. If Phil Labonte was still in the band, im sure they would be A LOT better. This Message Edited On 07.17.07

Ehh, AILD is really Generic, while Killswitch isn't really. I might Say:

Unearth- The Oncoming Storm
Poison The Well- The Opposite of December
All That Remains- The Fall Of Ideals

yuck poison the well.. AILD is generic ye, but i prefer SAS to As Daylight Dies, I don't really like All That Remains either.

All Shall Perish - The Price of Existence even though it doesn't sound the same
